Apple Theatre Company Continues

If you missed the Apple Theatre Companys recent production of Journeys, you missed a fantastic show. Luckily enough, ATC is not yet done for the summer far from it in fact! The company is in the process of rehearsing their second summer production, entitled Voices of Anguilla, a loose history of the island told in a series of vignettes in story, song and dance. The script was written by the participants of last summers youth theatre program, and, after rave reviews of the two performances given last August, ATC is producing the show again with two new casts, additional songs, and new choreography. If you missed this show last year, this is your chance to catch it (and if you were one of the lucky few who saw it last August, youll want to come back to see the new additions!). Voices of Anguilla will be playing at the Anguilla National Library Teachers Resource Centre Auditorium on August 20, 21, 22, 23, 2003 at 7:30pm sharp. Tickets are available at the Anguilla Drugstore, from cast members and at the door.

If you would like to catch a preview of the show, bits of Journeys, and a glimpse of the local talent budding in Anguilla, join the Apple Theatre Company at the Anguilla Great House on Saturday, August 16th at 5:30pm for ATC Summer Jams. This event will bring some of the ATC young performers together will some of Anguillas finest professional performing artists for an evening of song, storytelling and dance. Dont miss this rare and intimate showcase event, guaranteed not to be seen anywhere else!

If you would like to know more about Voices of Anguilla or the upcoming ATC Summer Jams, please call Eleanor Stacey or Lenaure Batista at 772-5928. Come out and experience the best of what Anguillas young performers have to offer!
