The mini plaza at the George Hill Landing welcomed another new business in late June. Entrepreneurs Gilford and Marcia Gumbs spearheaded Wines Etc with the expert assistance of Alan and Lisa Gumbs who own and manage Koal Keel Restaurant among other food and beverage establishments.

The boutique had a grand opening with an attendance of over 100 well-wishers where a varied selection of wines, liquors, liqueurs, champagnes and rums were showcased. Gilford is pleased to say that they offer the widest selection of champagnes and California wines on the island. Wines Etc. also carries accessories such as ice buckets, wine buckets, bottle openers and more. The store hopes to soon add complementary exotic items such as fine chocolates, cigars, teas, coffee and more.

Directions: Starting from the airport parking lot, take the only exit and turn left, then left again and past the airport entrance. Continue straight through the roundabout for about a mile. You will find Wines Etc on the left, in the same plaza as Caribbean Fancy and Colony Leisure, but around the corner. If you get to the cable TV offices, you went 100 yards too far.
