Tae Kwon Do in Anguilla

[Click to enlarge] On Anguilla, the martial arts are represented by the Tae Kwon Do club. And they compete internationally, led by instructor Emmanuel Laud, who is a 2nd Dan Black Belt.

The goal of the Tae Kwon Do school is to teach discipline and self defense.

The school has a web site at danny.ai/karate.html with news of their recent competition in the United States, where they captured 21 medals.

The team for the US competition, which included, Black Belt, Edward Webster, Brown Belts, Lanford Morton, David Laud, Eric Laud, Mirabelle West, Delon Skellekie, and Angele and Devin Hodge, Red Belts Anton and Aidan Scipio, Purple Belt, Jelani Banks and Yellow Belts, Shridath Rey, Shevianw Hughes, Wayne Richardson, and Juan Gomez, was accompanied by team assistants, yellow belts, Phyllis Fleming-Banks and Cheryl Laud.

The Anguilla Tae Kwon Do Club is a Karate and Martial Arts School, which is held in North Valley's Methodist Church Hall in Anguilla. From the intersection of Queen Elizabeth and Coronation in The Valley, head up coronation through the row of mahogany trees. You will find the church on the left. The classes are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, at 6:30 p.m - 8:30 p.m. 1-264-497-6267

The Anguilla Tae Kwon Do Club hereby invites you to participate in our Second Invitational Tae Kwon Do Tournament which will take place on Sunday, December 13, 1998 at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre in The Valley, Anguilla. Please submit the names and ranks of the participants from your club by September 30, 1998. We look forward to your response and to welcoming you to Anguilla for your participation in this tournament.
