Once again, Anguilla has placed cyclists on the podium in the OECS Championships.
Ronnie Bryan finished a
solid third place at the bike race held in St Vincent in early June. Ronnie joined an early fast break of
five other riders that managed to stay away for the duration. Ronnie's podium finish assures him a spot
at the Pan American Games In Rio in 2007.
Another great accomplishment from the race is that Anguilla placed all four riders in the top ten,
more than any other of the OECS championships. Charles
Bryan, chased the lead group of five for most of the three hours of racing on
his own. Rounding out the top ten for Anguilla were up and coming young riders Claude Romney and Travis
Richardson.
